The majority of this gallery was written as a quick side project over a rainy weekend. It is powered by PHP, CSS, HTML and Javascript and uses flickr's api extensively to pull all of its images from my flickr gallery. It utilizes a flickr api wrapper written by Dan Coulter and highslide for the slick javascript powered photo enlargement.
As nice as flickr is I have never liked its bright background - photographs look better on darker backgrounds. Additionally I wanted to display more information that is important to me, such as exif data and location info. I also like having the ability to enlarge pictures without leaving the page.
